If only Lexus built a manual transmission DRCC IS350... oh well.

Good job getting it done Justin, sorry about the car Eddie.

Getting the parts together, more parts coming next week. Found a 450h in eastern Europe and made them an offer on all the parts, if they looked it up they would see parts are worth a lot more.

That's excellent. I know I paid a lot more for new parts because it was impossible finding the right parts at junkyards. I still have the new parts sitting in a box in my garage.

Got all the main components
This is for Pre-collision and DRCC
Still need the front grill emblem, DRCC cruise control stock/wire, and some nuts/bolts. The LKA camera for 2013 is super rare and hard to find, if I ever come across it I can add later. The main goal here is DRCC. In 2013 you can get DRCC optioned separately from LKA.

I'm not that familiar with the 450 but LKA is very rare in the original 4GS, I've only ever seen it once on a 450H Fsport, I have no idea where you are going to find used steering wheel controls with LKA, it must have been one of those weird options like night vision that was wasn't even standard in the top trim! As far as I can tell, 84250-30261-B0 is the buttons with LKA. Good luck!

I had the buttons at one point when I bought the bamboo steering wheel for my 450h years ago and sold it to someone on this forum. The LKA/DRCC buttons from any 2013-2015 will work. Also the lka from a 2013 350 is the same. LKA at least in 2013 is a warning system, just alerts you when you drift off the lane. It doesn’t seem very useful to me unless the car actively steers. The camera on top of the steering column is already tracking your eye movements so kind of redundant.

I was looking over the FSM and apparently you can install DRCC independently of pre-collision. None of the additional components required for pre-collion are required for DRCC to operate.

If you wanted just DRCC you just need the radar sensor behind the grill, pre-collison front emblem, driving support ecu, DRCC cruise control stock/wire, and steering wheel trim with DRCC button.

Also in 2016+ they got rid of the driver monitor ECU, the camera on the steering column that tracks you eye movements, the front seat belts with the pretension motors and associated seat belt ecu.

I always kept an eye out for a GS I can harvest all DRCC parts from, so incredibly rare and hard to find parts.

I'm waiting on the last few parts, cruise control stock/wire, driving support ecu harness, and nuts/bolts. Was cheaper to order from Japan.

You and Justin did a lot of the leg work for me I am closer to my goal of adding every factory option, except LKA and night vision. Apparently you can only have one or the other because the night vision camera is different and installs in the same spot at LKA for 2013. Also I don't know if my led headlights are the ones for night vision. In any case I find both system unnecessary.

.
If you haven't already ordered the bits, you could check some wreckers in Australia. DRCC is standard on all GS models from 2012 on, with the exception of the 'GS250 Luxury' which was the cheapest GS available and rather rare. Any GS in wrecking will have whatever you need, assuming the part isn't RHD specific.

The last bits and pieces I need are relatively inexpensive to buy new from Japan(amayama.com, jp-carparts, or megazip.net), cheaper than usa dealers.

@peasodos I think DRCC would need new ECM and EPS.

@Justin0807 Installed it and he said it was plug and play, not calibration or programming. He also has a 450h and used same parts I have.

I hope you get it work because the 16+ safety system needs engine ecu, brake ecu, steering ecu beside recognition camera, radar and driving support ecu.
Cannot wait to see your result man.
