Default Anyone facing dull door closing sound?

I've a 2013 GS350 fsport, and the sound of the door closing for the most used doors (Front 2) sounds very "un-lexus" like. Could it be the rubber door seals getting soft? Rear doors are still sounding like new. Anyone been through the same thing?

I have a 2013 F Sport and I noticed the same thing. I may try some silicone on the door seal, that's all I can think to do.

Do you think changing door seals would help?

I am not having this problem but if the car is dead quiet and im going at 40+, I can barely hear a sort of whistle that almost sounds like its coming from the drivers door seal.... I wonder if it is related to this
topic.

I also have to wonder if some of this is caused by ****bird passengers slamming the doors, sure that doesn't help. I'm still trying to figure out this disease but then again since 2009 I've been a Toyota fanboi and this is
something that just doesn't happen, I guess people are still used to old doors on old american crapboxes. I always tell people "just close the door gently, it will close all the way no problem, you dont have to murder it.... "

I keep the door seals lubed twice a year using Gummi Pfleuge. The cold winters here is very bad on rubber.

I'm having a minor issue of wind noise on the drivers door on my 18 GS. You only hear it at highway speeds. I put some silicone grease on the weatherstrip but it didn't correct the problem. Nothing looks out of the norm on the weatherstrip. I'm debating whether to take it to the dealer since I'm not really sure what they could do to correct it. The noise didn't show up until I hit about 2000 miles from new. Not really sure what I'll do since it's so minor but somewhat annoying on the highway.

It's most likely the weather stripping that has been worn out. Yup, they murdered it.

That rubber is the one dampening the impact force when u slam the door hard. Do that repeatedly with a lot of force and they will die, same with the trunk, no need to slam hard anymore.

Don't know if your answering my issue. I never slam my doors and doubt the w-strip is worn out on mine, only 2500 mi. on the car.

Urs could be a defect in material. It should still be under warranty, just ask the dealer to replace it for free.
