Default Brake Pad Hardware Question

I bought some Centric front brake pads and in the hardware bag there are a couple small clips that I'm not sure what to do with. Does anyone know where these go?

Those should be the wear indicators. They clip onto the backing plate of the pad. One per side of the car. They lightly drag against the disc to make a slight squeaking noise as you drive to indicate the pads are at 25% or less life. At least that’s what I remember those clips to be on my other cars.

Those are wear indicators. I highly recommend putting those on. Every time I get my car serviced or it's in a shop I ask them check the brakes and stuff. Well turns out my inner pad is completely worn out and was metal to metal. There good perfectly good rotors. I should have checked myself instead of trusting the shops.
