Hell yea now ur going to replace ur brakes a lot sooner than ur supposed to. These brakes don't last that long to begin with and doing that just killed it even faster.

I think since the fix didn't work, they should replace ur brakes with a new one. Can u see if ur rotors and pads are thinner than before?

Not really I can't see any difference at all, regular A4 paper is 0.004 inches and they took off 0.003 inches.

Okay, so they probably only lightly scuffed it to remove the glaze then. I think u'll be ok.

I'd still demand it, or at least a voucher for a free pad/rotor replacement when it comes time to do brakes. They performed a service they should not have based on your description of the issue, and it did nothing to solve the issue. For that they owe you making the car 100% what it was before they touched it incorrectly. I'd also ***** about the wash at the same time, since you asked them not to do that and they did anyway. I have resorted to taping a big "DO NOT WASH" sign on the steering wheel and in the dash visible from outside to avoid this from happening, because they do so many a day that they often just ignore/don't see the instruction from the customer to not wash.

Well guys they came back and told me that they want to replace the 2 piece rotor to 1 piece I hear there are advantages in regards of wear and less dust correct. Any performance difference? Or should i wait and have them do it later down the road. Thanks

I'd go with it. Makes future maintenance easier too.

Are the 1-piece versions still the same diameter as the RWD F-Sport brakes or are they the smaller ones used on the AWD models?
