The clicking noise you hear coming from the front rotors is because they are two-piece heavy-duty rotors which purposely are made with a small degree of float (play) for expansion, thus the clicking metal-on-metal sound you hear at slow speed when the two pieces (the hat and the rotor) make contact with one another.
