Hi everyone. I'm looking to install a rear window spoiler on my 2013 GS 350. In particular, I would really like to find one with a brake light, so I could have the 3rd light relocated. 1, Has anyone here done this? I've seen many window spoilers here, but nothing with a brake light. I'd also like to find out the level of effort needed to do this, as not only are we talking about re-running the brake light wires, from the bottom on the window to the top, but then to the outside. 2, Does anyone know where to bet a spoiler like this? I'm hoping there is maybe a wireless version. 3, Does anyone have any recommendations, in the Harrisburg PA area, to perform this, and future, work? Thank you!
I've seen stuff like this in the past on other threads for other cars here on the forum. The easiest thing to do might be to buy a standard roof spoiler and then retrofit some kind of LED strip inside the top part of the rear window/glass, running the wire to your existing brake lamps.
Another idea which i've seen is retrofitting an LS460 high mount brake light on your GS and then buying a standard roof spoiler which would look like this:
