The rubber seal from my trunk come loose... don't look like there was anything to keep it on but that could mean the previous owner replaced it.

Regardless, what adhesive will your recommend to re-attach?

I haven't walked out to look at mine, but I would think there's a channel that you "snap" the stripping over and back into place without any adhesive.

But, like you said, previous owner may have replaced and could be different stripping altogether. In that case, I would think any automotive weather stripping adhesive will do the trick, just don't use a whole lot - that stuff is strong so a little goes a long way. 3M make a good line - something like this should do the trick.

No glue needed. I re-seat it back into its channel. Looks good
