i'm going to buy them and try it out. thank you so much for the advice. i didn't want to go to my lexus dealer as i am afraid they would try to make me replace something expensive and it wouldn't be the solution anyway. i will let you know if it works or not!
No problem, there was a batch of these relays that were bad and replacing these fixed my problems and hopefully fix yours as well, let us know! Good price on them from rockauto also.
The part came in and I installed it. Just waiting on a rainstorm so I can tell whether this fixed the problem or not. Hopefully it’s fixed but I will let you know definitely when it rains. Thanks again!

No problem, fixed mine, they do everything perfectly now, and it was an inexpensive repair. Hope yours is also fixed. Try using the regular manual stock and cancelling it inbetween it working, it shouldn't stick anymore and should complete the wiper cycle now.
I just purchased my GS a month ago and with the first rain I was disappointed that the auto sens did not work. My wipers work fine, but pressing the auto button does nothing. No light on stalk. I see someone messed with the panel at the top of the windshield because I heard it rattling. I'll have to figure out how to get that secure and make sure no one disconnected the sensor. I ordered the 2 relays anyway because I figured they couldn't figure out what was the issue. Fingers crossed!
Who ever have this problem might have the non-original windshield !
My windshield is original, or at least it has Lexus stamped on it. Still awaiting the sloth office to deliver my relays. Geez deliveries are crazy slow
So I finally received the relays, but I have a 450h. Looks like relays are underneath the wiring block. I cannot figure out how to pull up the top block covering the relays. Any help would be appreciated!
