Default Dash cam recommendations ?

Hi I’m looking to add a dash cam to my GS and preferably one for the front and one for the rear

just wondering anyone have any recommendations ?

Also as as far as installing did you do it yourself ? Or take it to a shop and of course pictures would be great! Thanks in advance

This is the one I have and I totally recommend it. It is the only unit to stand up to the Texas heat without a problem...although the memory card fizzled out about a month ago.

Unfortunately there is no rear camera, but otherwise perfect.

I have this one and am very happy with it.

I also used this cable which allows it to be on 5 min after shutting off ignition or until battery drops to 12v. Plugs into the OBD port so plug and play.

Install is a matter of tucking cables. Pretty simple.

Providing power to the rear cam isn't easy since there is no rear 12V socket like they have in SUVs and wagons.
The only way would be to route a long wire from the rear cam to the front, and tap into one of the accessory fuses.

There is a fuse box in the trunk.. no need to route to the front.

Thanks, I'll need to look this up in my owner manual. So there are three fuse boxes in total? (Under the hood, driver side foot well and trunk)

I have the BlackVue DR590W-2CH with a 64GB card (32GB is just fine, I just wanted to be boujee LOL). I like it because it's small and not noticeable. Has WiFi capabilities but no cloud, that'll be the DR750S model. Love how easy it is to remove the camera from the mount and store it away.
