Lucas oil treatment
I have been using Lucas oil upper cylinder treatment with my car and Costco 91 gasfor the last month and it seems to add a bunch of power and help the fuel economy a little. Anyone else use any fuel treatments and if so what are your results good or bad?
P.s. I only put 91 in my car; 90% of the time it's Costco gas, and if not some other top tier gasoline.

I have used Redline twice in my older GS and once in my current one mainly because it sat a while before it got sold and likely had bad gas in the tank but those were gas treatments to maybe clean the injectors a little. Oil/fuel treatment is not something I use often, maybe once every 4 or 5 years, using them more often is probably a waste of money.
I did use a Liqui Moly engine cleaner you add to the oil before a change and Ceratec when my 2nd Gen GS was around 100K miles, did not notice any difference honestly, fuel economy slightly improved but I mainly did it because they were on sale and was thinking they could not hurt/possibly help on a car I was planning on keeping for a long time.
I will get Liqui Moly Engine Anti Friction Oil Treatment and add some during oil changes, it is cheap and gets good ratings.

Why don't you get this as well? Must be good for a few more horses... LOL...
But seriously, those are only worth it if it makes you feel good about what you're putting in the engine. You'll find out lots more data out there that shows the benefits of those additives to be negligible or non-existent.
But like I said, if it makes you feel good, use it. I usually used Seafoam a couple of times a year, not sure if it works, but it makes me feel like I'm helping my engine out... who knows?

Unless you are having an issue with your gas or oil, I would not add anything to a modern engine.
Some older, high mileage cars might benefit from a few treatments but I'v pretty much decided there's no easy fix to anything. I've used SeaFoam to clean the intake of a 200K Tahoe, Techron in the gas from time to time and some thicker oils to quieten a noisy lifter but that's about as far as I'd consider.
Out of desperation and a reluctance to replace the rear main seal, I once tried Blue Devil and it did nothing but actually make the leak worse!
Your mileage may vary, literally, and without a controlled test environment, most of your "gains" are likely attributed to the placebo effect.

lol you guys act like i said its a turbo in a can! if you think its snake oil, think im silly for using it. please do not bother to comment on my thread; im asking other people's opinions based on experience.
