I am having the door lock actuator issue on my 2013 gs350. I am trying to figure out the correct part number to replace the part and have ran into confusion. I have also search and searched and can't seem to find a solid answer, which is quite strange. Some sites say that the correct part number is 69040-42250.. while other sites seem to say this part number is wrong that that the correct part is 69040-0C050... I have already received a new 69040-0C050 thinking it was correct but before I opened up my door I decided to confirm yet again and now I am not as confident as I was when I ordered this. It also doesnt help that the Ebay fitment guides also dont seem to be accurate.

Driver side door is 69040-42250 and passenger side is 69030-42230. This is for a 2015. What year is your car or better yet what is your VIN#? Post here or DM me.

sorry I completely forgot to mention my car model. It’s a 2013 gs350
They are not interchangeable. One side mirrors the other. It's not a synmetrical part that you can flip to install on the other side.
Think of this the passenger door actuator faces the inside of the car, move that to the other side it faces the inside of the driver door.
No I understand that, let me clarify.. I am not comparing two parts where one is a left and one is a right. I am being told by some people that 69040-42250 is an actuator for the Drivers Side front door AND 69040-0C050 is also the actuator for the Driver Side Front door. Lexus part websites show that the correct part is 42250.
Take this listing on ebay for example... in the notes area, this listing shows that both of these parts will work for the same exact application and it says they are "interchangeable" ... I am trying to find out if this is actually correct because if it is, then I have a part already. But if it is not then I have to return what I have (69040-0C050) so that I can purchase 69040-42250.

Nope. They are two different part numbers. Don't listen to eBay people, they are wrong.
