There are way too many separate Audio systems threads. 99% are as I always post based on the symptom: it's "the amp". Would help if we could link and get a Mod to merge all into one audio system problems thread.

Better yet, get a class action lawyer's attention and put an end to this..!! The amp is probably one of the most failure-prone components across all Lexus models.

My 4GS is 9 years old, while my 3.5GS is 15 years old (which my staff drive), but neither ML amplifiers have ever played up.
When my 4GS head unit did play up, the ventilation, sat nav and reverse camera - all worked fine.
Only the head unit had no sound.
