Yup.

In the hot summer days I’ll start it up as I’m leaving my desk at work. Then it’s cooled off by the time I get out there.

Can you start the A/C without cranking the engine like a Tesla?

Yeah, I knew that. Just havin' some fun...

My neighbor can even see what the car's interior temperature is on his Tesla App. He's in real estate sales and he often shows numerous houses to prospective buyers on 100+ degree days in the summertime here in Dallas. He just leaves the A/C running in his Model S P100D Tesla while he shows the houses and the car is always cool and comfortable when he and his clients get in the car to drive to the next house he shows.

Hold on. Let me finish my beer first. Then I’ll get more obvious jokes that are currently zipping right past my face.

Sorry. You were being kind thinking I asked a serious question. Please allow me to buy the next two rounds of beer!

well damn how long are his clients taking to look at a house? Get a good tint and you should be good. A/c doesn’t take that long to cool. I would like to know how much running the ac all the time drains his battery

When clients look at a 4,000 SqFt - 12,000 SqFt house they are really interested on, it can take a while. At 100 degrees it doesn't take but 5 minutes for any car, regardless of tint, to get boiling hot. Why get in a hot car when instead you can get in a nice cool car without having to leave the engine running?

Seeing that running the AC in a Tesla runs off the batteries, and that reduces range essentially its the same thing...the engine IS running.

I hate this with Pandora, clearly the only reason they dumped it is because their co-profit agreement with Pandora is ending.
