Yep, I can definitely get behind that statement. When I was a young gun, BJ's Wholesale denied me warranty due to too-few rotations... that never happened again.
Hmmm... One of the first things I noticed with my F Sport was the firmer/harsher ride when compared to my previous non-F Sport. And I have the Potenzas, maybe that's the main reason for the stiffness rather than the suspension... hmmm...

I am glad I switched to all season tires. The ride is much smoother and it still handles nice. My wife noticed a huge difference when she sits in the back with our little one.

To get the Pirelli's, I have read on various threads (especially when I had my IS350) that folks have successfully run a square setup as a 235/40 tire will fit on both the front 19x8 and rear 19x9 stock wheelset of a RWD GS...you may be giving up a bit of handling and grip with a slightly skinnier tire in the back.
Maybe others can chime in with experience running a square setup on a staggered wheelset...

Pirelli Cinturato P7's are only available for the front, but not the ultra-wide asymmetric rear.
For F Sport staggered set up, try the Michelin Pilot Sports 4S; they are said to be very comfortable and quiet for sports tires.
Only the F Sport in AWD has no asymmetrical fat tires in the rear which can accept the Pirelli Cinturato P7's.

Have had 2 previous AWD models. Primacy MXM-4's (AWD non F-sport) and Pirelli P7's all season plus (2014 AWD F-sport). Depending on your roads, you will regret having the Pirelli's unless you get tire and wheel. I went through 8 tires in less than 2 years. Once I had a flat and all four had to be replaced because of bubbles. I got my 2015 AWD F-Sport with the Bridgestone Turanzas, absolutely none of those forsaken bubbles despite clipping a couple of pot holes and maybe having the guy behind me thinking I was OUI because of my swerving. Time will tell how they hold up over this coming winter in Boston, as the current season in New England is Construction.

hiyabuddy - Thanks for adding your actual Pirelli P7 experience. Since my post a few days ago I've been rethinking my comments about the Turanzas being harsh. After the first thousand miles or so, I'm finding the ride to be acceptable, even on the Sport+ setting. Maybe they just needed some break-in. BUT, I'm still concerned about the Turanzas' snow performance. On both the Tire Rack and Town Fair Tire websites, they are among the lowest rated all-season tires for Winter/Snow performance.

I've been VERY pleased with the Continental ExtremeContact DW tire on mine. I think the DWS designation is an all season and they are made in the F-Sport staggered size.

I'm partial to the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus based on the reviews I've read here and elsewhere. Here's an example:

The dealer put on 3 new Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02 tires as part of the CPO deal for my 2015 GS 350 F Sport AWD. I'm not thrilled with them, they are harsh and noisy. But I'm going to see how they do this winter before I decide I need to replace them. I'd like to get at least 3 years out of them. I'm also considering getting a separate set of rims with snow tires, that was the standard procedure on my BMW.

Below, see what two of those Turanzas looked like before I replaced all 4 tires with a set of Pirelli Cinturato P7 AS+3's a few weeks ago. Nice, huh? The one at the bottom must be original (55K miles). I DO look at my tires regularly, so that sidewall separation must have been on the inside of one of the rear wheels.
Saying the new meats are better handling and quieter would be the understatement of the millenium.
