2016 GS350 nNavigation freezing - anyone else?
I have a 2016 GS350 with about 14,000 miles on it. Over the last several weeks, the navigation screen has frozen while I'm driving, and it doesn't respond to the steering wheel controls, either. The image freezes - it doesn't turn black. The only remedy is to turn the car off and turn it back on. Has anyone else had this issue?
I must say, the navigation system (and especially the voice control) is the most frustrating feature on this car. This is our fourth Lexus, and I think the terrible, outdated, clunky navigation system is enough to consider another manufacturer.

I had this happen once. No control by the ***** or steering wheel controls. I pressed in and held the volume control for a few seconds and then it rebooted. No problems since. Dealer had no answers for me.

When I had this issue on my IS I asked the dealer to ensure my software/firmware was up to date. They checked and loaded an update that fixed the problem.
And as noted above, if it does happen, just press and hold the radio volume **** for a few seconds to reboot it. That way you don’t have to turn off the car to reset it.

Listen go on lexusdriver.com there is a firmware update that resolves this issues I have a 2016 and my NAV and voice command is the best I've ever used. my system never froze but i installed the update. I would do a reset of my NAV system after the update
