Hah. I have all the parts you need except for the little swivel/hinge that @peasodos made out of some metal.

I found this from a Russian website:

Apparently, for him it was plug and play, part number for oem left trunk hinge with correct bracket below.
Hello. Tired of clapping the trunk lid, so I decided to correct this defect in the premium car of my configuration. Purchased components, the other day I will put. Something took BU, something new. Filed around 30 thousand rubles. Need to repaint the loop
Something like that.
The last stage, disable the standard braid, and connect the new one. And then check.

It's a rubber case, I like it a lot. I took these pictures for you. You can find them on eBay or Amazon for a few bucks, .

Yes, you will need a custom bracket/hinge like peasodos made. Otherwise you will need to get the actual part shown in the post you quoted. I don't like to play around with the trunk tensioner, it's a pain to get it aligned correctly when putting back together.

Eddie carbon fiber it covers up the panic button, but I don't use it anyways.

Haha, I like the rubber one, keeps it from sliding all over the place when I place it on a desk or dash. I thought about the card key a long time ago but decided it wasn't for me. I like having the option to lock/unlock/trunk sometimes.

Just curious, how much (approx) was it to add the power trunk, vs power mirrors, vs key fob credit card thing? I am going to change out my fog lights soon since I basically have time now at home, but am looking for other items to modify over the coming months. Thx

I did the mod today but nothing happened. Not sure the wiring or @itsRaymond parts.
This is UT1 connector. I tapped number 2(gray) and 8(white black)
This is AT1 connector. I tapped number 9(gray) and 10(white black)
The wires have the same color so It is easy to realize. Now the trunk can be only opened by the physical key.
