Question Air Bag Connector

How the hell does this connector come apart? Pulling up or down on the little tab does nothing.

You probably have to use a small flat head or pick to stick in/under the tab to release it.

As peasodos said, I think you'll need to use a micro flat blade screwdriver, inserted into the slot where the white section meets the yellow section (where there is a little arrow or triangle pointing to the slot in the image below) to lift the white section so the connector can be separated.

Oh wow, did not even notice that. I was dumbfounded for a good 10 minutes before I decided to remove it along with the mounting plastic. I will take a look at it tomorrow and see if the screwdriver will do the trick. Thanks!

Just FYI, it's a double clip. Once you release one clip and move it a little, there will be a second one to release. This is to prevent them from accidentally separating.
