Default Clicking noise and rubbing

Hello,

I was wondering if it is normal that my lexus makes clicking noise and have a rubbing feel when turning steering wheel at full lock. Also, when I get out of my car and the suspension rebounds it also makes a clicking noise..

You didn't provide any info on your car but you can get them replaced for free under a TSB. Go to your dealership and tell them you want the rotors changed from a 2 piece to 1 piece (that's if you have an F-Sport).

Oh right, my car is a 2015 gs350 f sport. What's TSB and is it normal for a 2 piece rotor to make those noises? Also would I have to pay for new rotors?

See attached TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins). No, it would be free replacement.

Funny, my 15 never made this noise but I hear it all the time on my new '18. Would you get them replaced? Is there any advantage to the aluminum over steel? Should I wait until it has more miles on it?

I had theclicking issue on my gs for sometime.., seems driveable with it. I only took it in because I'm almost out of warranty.. I would drive on it until your warranty is almost out. If you have a fsport they'll replace brake rotors and pads if not I would have them do the procedure asap.

Yeah, there is definitely an advantage with the aluminum rotors, they are much lighter in comparison to the steel ones. You can feel the difference on the steel ones where the car feels slightly slower off from a complete stop but it is very negligible; Steel ones are heavier so they add to the unsprung weight, I just don't know by how much.
