I would probably buy new pads...
But if the pad surfaces are true, give it a shot.

I've been running these same rotors but cross-drilled and they're great. quiet but heavy compared to two-piece oem rotors. I got them for $92 each side.
From what I was told that centric/stoptech wanted to make their own 2pc version but it wasn't cost effective so they went with this 1pc version.

Just installed these 2 rotors and new Akebono Premium pads.
The break squeal is horrible.
Did I miss something? I've read that Akebono pads get rid of squel.
do i need to shims?
