Why in the name of Lexus does my 2017 GS450h not have a front parking sensor???
JUST found out that my car DID NOT COME WITH any front parking sensors - went in for my first service - 5000 miles - thinking I had inadvertently turned off my sensor sounds - I did turn off all the sounds I could find. Techs said there were no parking sensors on that model. I thought they were just too lazy to fix it. So, I called my salesman. HE sent me the listing of standard equipment on that model...and...IT IS NOT THERE!! They have "Lexus Safety System +" but that does not include parking sensors???
How the hell am I supposed to park in my small garage now? My 2014 ES300h had the sensors. My 2012 HS250h had them. But, my 2017 GS450h (which cost more than both of the previous two combined) DID NOT COME WITH THIS???
Can't they add it on?

I felt the same way when I realized my custom order “fully loaded” didn’t have the heated steering wheel... next time will go to a different dealer and make sure they get it right

How did you not know about this when you test drove the car/initially purchased? The parking sensors are clearly visible, 4 small circles on the bumper. Kind of silly to not have this standard especially for a 2017. I think on my 2013 it was a $500 for the first owner.

When I was shopping for my 4GS, I was specifically looking for AWD, BSM, Cold Weather Pkg and Park Assist...if the car didn't have these, it was a no-go and my salesman knew that to make the sale, at minimum the car had to have these.
Intuitive Park Assist has been an individual option on all 4GS models since they came out. Its a fairly common option but not standard unfortunately.
