Rear 19s overall diameter with tire at cold 35psi: 25" as best as I could measure it

That puzzles me. My measurements were probably off 1/8”-1/4” or so in either direction, but we’re still really close at that 13.75”-14” center axle to fender.
With my 20’s at overall diameter 26” vs your 25” I would think they fill my wheel-wells more and close the tire-to-fender gap; but I guess not.
Your 26” height vs my 27” height makes sense though - because I should be 1/2” taller than you, and I’m 1” taller (ground to fender).

I know in the truck world that if you haul some serious loads (I just did a few 1,500 lb trips in my Tundra) that the springs can perma-sag.
After unloading the last 1,500 lb load my truck was 1/2” lower on one side - enough to where you could tell.

The most weight my car has ever had in the back seat was a 35 lb 6 year old and a 50 lb 10 year old - then my wife at 130 lbs in front seat with me at 190 lbs.
My car is always completely empty - nothing in trunk ever. I use the Tundra for hauling anything and everything.
Lexus is just the car I drive on sunny days. Maybe I need to load the trunk/backseat with 700 lbs and drive around for a week :-) lol

Do those not scrape against your fender liner?

Nope, springs are too stiff for them to really go up any. It could go lower and not hit the liners.

How does yours look like that? I have rwd tanabe on stock shocks for about 10k miles and have about 40k miles now. Nowhere close to the gap you have. Other cars seem high while others seem lower with these springs and OEM wheels. Are you running spacers?

I am running spacers on the rear but that has no effect on the drop. Was your suspension installed properly? The times I've seen high ride/uneven drop is when the suspension was not properly preloaded during the spring install. Do you know if yours was when the springs were put in?

I had a shop do it so I have no idea if it was pre loaded. I will probably take it out and do it myself this time around. Can you show what exactly you did? I was thinking of getting super downs until I saw your picture. Here's what mine looks like.. The rear is about 3 finger gap front is about 2. Can you take a picture further away?

Here is a video that details what it means to pre-load the suspension.

Basically you want to install the springs by simulating the full weight of the vehicle on the spring before all the bolts are tightened up to spec. If you just install the spring and tighten everything up without putting the weight of the vehicle on the suspension first, you'll get an uneven drop and unnecessary wear on suspension components.

Good to know. I just ordered my Tanbe springs and plan on installing them myself in the coming weeks. Beside preloading, any tip/suggestions for the install?
