Default Fog Lights from Nigel

I have been meaning to get around to buying fog lights for a while now but just haven't got a chance until now.

@Nigel-JDMParts website has the following options listed:

Option 1: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R)

Option 2: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R) + Lexus (Valeo) Fog Lamp Housing with halogen bulbs X 2 (L,R) + Custom Harness with On/Off button

Option 3: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R) + Lexus OEM Stalk + Custom Harness

Option 4: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R) + Lexus OEM Stalk + Custom Harness + Lexus (Valeo) Fog Lamp Housing with halogen bulbs X 2 (L,R)

Option 5: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R) + Lexus OEM Stalk + Custom Harness + Lexus LED Fog Lamp Housing X 2 (L,R)

Option 6: Fog Garnish X 2 (L,R) + Lexus LED Fog Lamp Housing X 2 (L,R) + Custom Harness with On/Off button

To those that have bought from Nigel...

Question #1 - Do most people go with Option 5 and buy their own LED lights? If so, which are good ones?

Question #2 - What is the part number of the OEM stalk they provide? I see there are only two part numbers for our car. 84140-30420 and 84140-30360. I assume they provide 84140-30360 which is "With fog lamps. Without f-sport. Without f sport package." The ones we have standard on our F-Sport is probably 84140-30420 which is "With f-sport. Without fog lamps. With f sport package." Can anyone confirm?

Thanks for the help.

#2 The part number you need is:
84140-30360

"With fog lamps. Without f-sport. Without f sport package"

The 2015 USA F-Sport doesn't come with foglights that's why it says "Without f sport package"

My 450h has the foglights standard and can confirm 84140-30360 is the part you need. I guess your taking the steering wheel off again

The one listed on eBay is not the correct one, they put the wrong part number.

if u going to make the foglight indicator to light up on ur cluster then u get the #5 if not and just going to wire it up to the headlight then u just need #2. im pretty sure u can look up the wires to ur cluster since u got tis and etc. so I think u should go for the oem stalk too!!!

I thought I read on the install thread light is no longer there for 16+ MY?
Definitely want another detailed write up for this install so I can use it to install mine 😁 although I’ll need the windshield washer reservoir replacement guide as well 😫

Only reason I haven't done the fogs yet is because I dont want to mess with my giant reseviour tank. I have Nov 2015 build F Sport. Detailed write up would be appreciated if you're going to do #5 option.

Removing the reservoir will be easy and more apparent once you remove the front bumper:
See the attached pdf for the front bumper removal, it's not hard.

Can someone who has done this mod for 2015 that required the reservoir replaced provide the following:
P/N for the 2013 Reservoir.
Where to buy it.
Thanks

On a side note, I use the Morimoto XB leds. They are plug and play and fit our cars perfectly. The are VERY BRIGHT and have both a Fog Light (yellow) and a Driving Light (white) versions available. Morimoto is a recognized lighting brand.... not the typical imported generic brand where some online company places a logo on the product and call it theirs.

What is the difference between your link and this link?

http://www.morimotohid.com/lexus-mor...ect_restrict=1

One is a Type S and one is Type T; I believe Type T is newer style? I guess I can just buy option #3 from Nigel (garnish + OE stock + harness) and use these Morimoto XB's instead? What options did you get? Sorry for the questions.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I believe my link is the newer version(?) with a 10-year warranty? Just make sure to use the "applications" section to find the year and model that fits. I would guess that process will bring you to the newest version.

Does the harness from Nigel turn the dash indicator light on and off? Or do I need to tap into the ECU connector separately? I am looking for the most plug and play solution and want to avoid spending too much on custom wiring. Too many other projects to tackle.

u have to tap the stalk wire into the ecu and the foglight wire to the integration box its very easy.
