Default 2015 GS350 or 2014 GS350 FSport

I’m trying to decide between 2015 gs luxury or a 14 GS fsport. The 15 has 27k the 14 has 38k the price is about $2,000 difference. Is the sport+ the same on both cars?

I'd probably go with the luxury. You can make the throttle response the same between the fsport, but the fsport will have the adaptable suspension, so it depends on what you are looking for. I'd be about 50/50 between those 2 models for the price/miles.

The sport+ in the luxury has the same function as in the f-sport but with slightly differing results. It is not as sporty.

I'd consider the 2015 just for the Navigation GUI upgrades alone. I had the same issue between a 2014 and 2015 and although both "infotainment" systems suck the 2015 is much better of the both as it's an upgraded infotainment system compared to 2014. For 2015, for example, you can view a large map display on the left side, audio in the middle and a third function, such as climate control, on the right. In addition, the Lexus Enform App Suite has been upgraded to include iHeartRadio, Pandora and Slacker for even more music-listening choices plus 3D Maps. For me that was a deal breaker despite 2014 being a bit cheaper but by not much.

FSport is a different front end appearance (classy-aggressive). The non-F is not for me.
This is brought up from time to time. Really
make sure that you look closely at both cars.
To me, extrerior appearance is more important than a few interior changes.
Everyone has a different opinion - but that’s mine :-)

Non-F

F-Sport

PS - I went 2014 F-Sport, and have no clue what I’m missing in a 2015. I hop in the car, and my phone connects to the audio and I’m off on my way.
I always use my phone for Google Maps or Waze, so the factory GPS I don’t use (I believe most people don’t).
I don’t think the Luxury has the adjustable side bolsters on the seats either? That’s a nice touch I do like in the FSport. Brakes are bigger too, which is always good (just costs more).

Sport+ essentially the same (more aggressive tuning in the F-Sport though). Also as others have mentioned, the infotainment is updated a bit in the 2015 models. The mileage difference is negligible on the two cars but the $$ difference makes sense.

I'd go with the 2015 Lux. A Lux package 4GS is hard to find, especially from 2015-2017. With the '15 Lux, your original bumper to bumper warranty will likely still be intact until 2019 depending on the first in service date on the Carfax.

The biggest nav updates on the 15, aside from 3D maps, are the "one-shot address entry" which is only useful if you use the nav for directions, and the traffic and weather is free for life, rather than being subscription based through SiriusXM. If you use your phone for your maps, then these updates won't mean much to you.

The seats in the luxury package are actually more adjustable than the F Sport seats. In the lux, both front seats are 18 way adjustable with memory. In the F Sport, the driver seat is 16 way and the front passenger is 10, with memory only on the driver seat.

How do you split the display 3 ways? I can only do 2 ways on my '15.

The '14 will also have iHeartRadio, Pandora, and Slacker too, but note that Pandora is going away next month for all of them.

Go with the luxury, you get adaptive headlights, more window shades, both front seats have the extra adjustments and memory, nicer (IMO) wood trim, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting too. The headlights are sweet. Both cars will have Sport+ and adaptive suspension, though some on here are saying the tuning of the adaptive suspension is a little different, which i did not know.

Where do you view this weather update?

It should be under Info screen. Whenever I want to view current weather it always displayed Downey, CA. That city is nowhere near me. I'm closer to Los angeles. is this intentional or there's some issue with the weather on the Lexus?

Seems you already had your mind made up as by the time you made this post and asked for our opinions then a few hours later you went with the 2014 before most could answer your questions. hmmmmmm
