You can just go to your dealer and tell them that you want the dashboard replaced. I didnt get a notice in the mail, but my local dealer told me if I want I could get mine replaced free of charge since my car's build date falls within the models that qualify for the replacement.

Thanks, I called the Lexus dealer and they said to bring it in to take pictures to submit to Lexus to see if they would cover it. The fix is good until 2024 so I will wait until it gets worse. A picture really would not show up that good.

I had a dash crack on mine. I went in during the CSP time frame but Lexus denied the warranty. They said that it's not naturally forming crack and/or not sticky enough to warrant a replacement. I was really mad. I ended up replacing the dash myself from a newer model GS.
Since the 2013 model is outside the CSP time frame, they may not be able to cover the entire cost of replacing the dashboard.

I had a crack appear on the passenger side, right along the seam for the passenger airbag. The crack is about 3 inches long now. Trying to figure out solutions.

I had the same crack. I did the diy repair kit, but the crack grew longer and wider. My only solution is a dashboard replacement from a later model GS.

Is the bound to happen eventually? My 2013 shows no signs of cracks. Car’s garage kept since purchased new.

Depends on your location. Seems like the CSP is targeting at high temp, high humidity location.

Keep the dash clean. Use 303 Automotive Protectant, it provides UV protection and moisture treatments. I also use a front window screen protector. Lexus is not the only car to have this problem. It's happening to many other cars.

Did you end up fixing it yourself with the new parts or did you take it in?

Why waste your own time and money and just Llet the dealership replace it under the program?

Good to know - I can do some work on cars. How much work was it to get the new part in?

They won't do it for free outside the CSP window, which is why I did the work in the first place....

And you're going to bring this up 3 years after I have done the work? What is it that you want me to do now? Travel back in time?

It was not bad at all. Spent about 3-4 hours. I didn't remove the steering wheel like the guide mentioned.
