It's way easier to just ceramic coat the wrap anyways rather than waxing. Something like gtechnique is easy to install since the wrap doesn't require prep beyond an alcohol wipe down and durable..
I am not sure if it as big of a deal with the newer solid colors, but when we were printing wraps and putting on UV lamination, it was very important not to seal the vinyl for several months, just like paint.

Contaminant clean up on both should be done immediately. (bird droppings etc...)
that's good info...….and the same as what the installer told me

I finally got around to taking a pic of the rear of my GS.....they pastidipped the emblems and the exhaust outlets...….the rear spoiling is wrapped in glossy black as is the chrome.....I'm taking it in today for a window tint to complete the overall look!

It looks great but for me personally, I don't think I'd get over the orange peel effect from a gloss vinyl on my entire vehicle. For accent wraps it's not a big deal but with a gloss vinyl across the whole thing, seeing that orange peel like you have there would eat at me.

If I ever did a full wrap I think I'd go with matte for that reason alone.

Why did they have to take the rear door panels off if they didn't wrap the inside of the door?

Re orange peel/gloss effect, pretty true for the most part. Though also know not all gloss vinyl is created equal. I used vvivid gloss black on my mirrors and it's nearly like black paint, if not the same, or even better. And i have eagle eyes that will spot the smallest imperfections. I haven't tried it on a large panel but I want to as i suspect anything that would show, would show easier over a large area.

Materials to wrap a car are about $350-$500. It's the prep you really need to get right. I want to do my car one day... but have to really vet the vinyl first to make sure it's glossy. Truly glossy. Paint glossy. I find 85% of the vinyls out there market as "gloss" end up looking like trash bags.

To properly wrap, door handles need to be removed as well, there is one 10mm nut and wire connector located inside the door.
