Has anyone here put a set of these one? Kevin at R1 has given me a price and I want to pull the trigger on them but I would like to here what everyone thinks for this application.
A couple of points before everyone starts replying:
Thanks in advance,

A couple of points before everyone starts replying:
- I know the car came with 2 piece rotors however Lexus decided to remove mine and go with the 1 piece setup after the 3rd set had issues (abnormal wear and clicking). Note: I was told that the OEM 2 piece were no longer available for the GS....and now I know they LIED...
- I don't want to spend $1000 on rotors since the 1 piece OEM's seem to work just fine for my application.
- I like the look the eLine drilled and slotted rotors provide.
- Due to excessive dust from OEM pads I plan to make the change to ceramic regardless of whether or not I go with the eline rotors.
Thanks in advance,
TnGS350

Well guys I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered the eline setup (black zinc coated drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads and hardware for all 4 corners). I will try and take some photos of the install and give some updates along the way on the over all performance since there is basically nothing out there on this setup and our cars. If these work well it will be a great alternative to the stock brakes for a very affordable price. Also, a big thanks to Kevin and Allan at R1 for working with me and making sure I had the correct part numbers for my RWD F-sport.
If you are interested in getting this setup I recommend you contact Kevin directly because there was an adjustment in part numbers to insure proper fitment for the RWD F-sport.

if your car was retrofitted with one-piece rotors, you will have a shim on the hub in between the knuckle and bearing to space out the one-piece rotors to the caliper (assuming it was done per the TSB).
keep in mind this shim may need to be removed in order to run the newer aftermarket rotors from R1 since they are designed for a car which originally had the fsport 2-piece rotors on!
TSB can be found here:

Thanks for the reminder! I knew that the TSB called for one but knowing the dealership it was a corner they cut. The TSB also states that they must notify the customer before the change is made and that the clicking in sharp turns is normal. Mine were clicking all of the time which was not normal. The rotors were defective and should have been replaced with another 2 piece set. And I was told after the change that it was my only option.
Sorry...that is still a sore spot with me but thanks for reminding me to check it since it could effect the air gap between the pads and rotor.

ya im planning to order the r1 rotor when my pads out with their 2 piece rotor I don't mind paying more for the quality and looks =). too bad the rotor just came out when I ordered my rotor bak then or else I would buy it right away when they announce it. not much people gived a good review on their 2 piece rotor yet. but look like a good demand since its always out of stock.
