Sunroof rattle
Hi guys.
I recently purchased a CPO 2015 GS 350 with F Sport package. It has 15k miles. I noticed a rattle when I drive over road bumps/holes. I can reproduce the rattle by pushing up on the glass as you can see in the video. Before I take it to the dealership I was hoping one of you can give me a suggestion how to fix it. The dealership isn’t really convenient for me.

There are extensive threads on here regarding sunroof rattle and "clunking" that is actually caused by sunroof. Search for those and read the DIYs on how to fix them, they will tell you how to solve your problem.

Thanks CottageChz. I posted the video to see if that's the same rattle that others have reported. In the video you can clearly hear the rattle and where it is coming from.

Yes, I had the dealership replace the sunroof seal and that took care of the problem. It was covered by the warranty. It looks like it an easy DIY job (if you are out of warranty)

Ya I'm still under warranty they supposedly replaced everything including the seals yet i still get that exact same noise you had in your video literally got the car back today too seems as if nothing was done (LOL). Glad yours is fixed i'll have to get to the bottom of my problem.

In my case the new seal is a little thicker. When the sunroof is closed the seal helps put pressure on the sunroof mechanism and that is what stops the rattle.
