How to program TPMS tire sensor codes? I have purchased four new tires and would like to use my old sensors. Appreciate experienced response.

I wonder if the sensors are position specific.
meaning if the tire shop swapped the wheels left to right (or front to back for AWD models) will it reset properly?
I know on my 07 IS250 they are not position specific but that car lacks a TPMS reset button altogether.

I rotate my own tires and TPMS doesn't care where the wheels are as long as it's on the car.
