Default Brake Light Area To Small?

Why wife swiped my 13 GS and as she was leaving the hood she stopped at a stop sign. I was very surprised at how small the brake light are was. Disappointed actually as I had a LS before that was much better/safer.

Are you talking about the third brake light? It's the standard size and it's LED, so it's bright. I have my back window tinted 20% and it shows through very clear. Most of the cars on the road have this size brake light, does not make it less safe. Yes the LS brake light on the outside of the car is wider and sexier, I'm jealous of it too.

I thinks he talking about the brake lights in the taillights. Yes the light up area when using the brakes doesn’t use a ton of real estate, but that also doesn’t bother me too much I thinks it’s plenty visible when the brakes are being engaged.

As long as they're all functioning, I see no problem.

One of my peeves are those cars driving around at night with only 1/3 functioning brake lights, or worse, not working at all.
