Hey guys. Is there a way to easily tell how much life I have left on my front brake pads without removing the wheel? I can visible see the brake pads on the rear but the front pads are covered by the caliper cover.

I've attached a couple pics to show what I'm talking about - front brake pads (first pic) and rear brake pads (second pic - for reference).

Front pads - unable to see thickness of brake pads due to caliper cover

Rear pads - while you can't tell from the photo, from the side angle you can see the thickness of the brake pads

Place your phone against the dish, Use your phone camera + flash on able to capture the brake pad. I have done that many time (note: I don't have iPhone).

you can try these brake pad gauge and the inspection mirror. sometimes my coworker use those to inspect the brake pads
