Default 2016 Base to F Sport front bumper conversion?

I ran into some debris on the highway earlier today and probably would need the front bumper replaced - wondering if this would be a direct replacement and if so, has anybody done this?

Lots of folks have done this on the pre-refresh 2013-2015 MY GS's. One member even converted his 2013 to have the 2016 F sport bumper with the standard slat-style grill: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-4th-gen-2013-present/825654-first-2016-converted-gs.html.

The newer 2016+ F sport bumpers are no different in that you can swap 'em to replace the non F sport bumper.

You can get a new F sport bumper and grille assembly but it isn't cheap. Dealers typically want 500-700 for just the F-sport mesh grille: https://parts.lexusofwestkendall.com...bly-5310130890

The 2016+ F sport bumper will be about $300. There's always eBay as well...

Is there much of a premium in the F Sport grill vs base? Looks like my grill would need replacing anyway and I was thinking it'd be on me to pick up the deductible and the difference between the base parts vs the F Sport parts.

I guess it'd all depend on how big of a difference there are in the bits of the front end.

I have no idea why, but the non F sport grilles are cheaper than the non F sport: https://parts.lexusofwestkendall.com...bly-5310130870

I wanna get this thread started back up again! I also have the same question. I got my base 2016 Gs350 for a steal, and I love the F sport front bumper for 2016+ models. If I were to swap my base bumper with an F Sport, would it be pretty easy? (basically would the bolts/clips line up correctly, will i have to cut or modify any pieces of the bumper, etc)
