Probably leaking, should be fixed under warranty, take to another dealer.

My front struts were replaced under warranty at around 30k miles. Now at 70k miles my rears had to be replaced under CPO warranty.
Although they all had leaked, I did not experience any reduction in ride quality or handling. It seems as if the fluid leaked is minimal or stops leaking after a short time because only visual inspection of the leak was the indicator of the need to replace.

I just purchased a used 2013 GS350 F sport with 51k miles and found out one of my rear struts were leaking and needed to be replaced. The part itself is only about $240 but the dealer wanted ~$800 for parts and labor.

My rears leaked at 30 and my fronts at 60. I am not a sedate driver though.

My 2015 Gs with Lux option has the S + setting. Left front shock is wet at the bottom. Mileage is 31 K.

47K no leaks on mine, 2015 F sport.... I rarely use Sport+ though not sure that has anything to do with it or not..

There seems to be a correlation with strut leaks and people that have lowered their cars, although I think this is a sort of "false bias" - people that lower their cars end up paying more attention to these kinds of things as to whether or not their tires rubs, etc... and if they look they are more likely to see strut fluid, etc.

All of mine were replaced around 70,000. 2013 Luxury model with AVS. 3 out of 4 were leaking. No mods. Diminished ride quality was what brought me in to have them looked at.
