Default Quick Dashcam Question

Hey folks I have a question regarding hardwire install of a dashcam. Just installed the Rexing V1 and it came with this hardwire kit.

I plugged it into the Front Charging port fuse under the passenger side dash. I only want the dashcam to power on when I turn the car on and power off when I turn it off. My question I guess is the front charge port in the center console always hot? As it seems the dashcam stayes powered on even when I shut the car off. If this is the case can someone point me to a 15A fuse that is only hot when the car is on? Thanks in advance and I did search but am not coming up with any results. Apologies if this is a dumb question.

I believe this has a built-in battery which may still power the unit even after you turn your ignition off. Also, check your auto-shut settings to see what it is set to.

Try your stereo or ACC fuse. Both should be ignition keyed.
The battery in the unit is for graceful shutdown, not to continuously power it. Be careful if you live in a very hot region. The battery can leak or explode. Units with capacitors are better for those regions.

Appreciate that, as I'm pretty positive the front charger is always hot. I always disconnect the negative battery cable when doing anything electrical just out of habit and as soon as I reconnected it the dashcam powered on. I'll try the ACC fuse, thanks! In the Nashville area so I'm not too concerned with the battery.
Edit: Looks like the ACC is 7.5A and the hardwire kit is a 15A

Update: Score! The 15A for the Heated Steering Wheel (which I don't have) did the trick. @Ratchey you gave me an idea and pointed me in the right direction so thanks for that. So for anyone else looking for a 'hot on start' switched fuse try the heated steering wheel

Wasn't empty for me either even though I don't have the heated steering wheel. Or at least, I'm assuming this is the heated steering wheel fuse based off the abbreviation LOL. See pic, fifth up on the right. Passenger side under the glove box. Only thing that bugs me is the fuse cover doesn't fit with the extended fuse / cable. Not really a big deal as it isn't visible unless you wanna crawl under there. Just tossed it in the glove box in case I ever need it; which I'm sure I will at some point. Next project is Fsport fogs but looks like there is a ton of info I need to go through on here before tackling that project. Especially since I want it to work with an OEM stalk.
Edit: Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this being the heated steering wheel fuse. All I know is it is 'hot on start' and not always on which is what I was looking for.

my problem is im looking for one thats 20A or blank thats only hot when on. I have yet to figure it out for the passenger box. I have found it in the trunk but haven't found a good place to stash the battery and thread the wire to the cabin.

Maybe try and check what the 20A 'WASH' fuse is in the pic I posted. What is it exactly that you are trying to install?
