Stop wearing rings and only way to fix is replace with new steering wheel or cover it up with a leather steering cover. There are places that can fix this leather but will charge you a pretty arm and leg. Good luck.

Ouch, you just reminded me that I need to clean and condition my steering wheel... ouch again.
I think I saw a couple of Leatherique videos where you can use a leather restorer, filler, dye process and it looks pretty good. Search some videos and see if that will work for you.
