F-Sport 245F -275R economics?
I like the staggered tire setup on the F-Sport, but am questioning the oddball 235F/265R, which is more expensive than the more common 245F/275R setup (more competition).
I’ve got a ton of miles left on the stock 235F/265R Dunlop SportMaxx OEM, but did some apples/apples comparisons vs. 245F/275R.
More choices, less expensive.
I’m biased, but I like Michelin & Conti from experience (pics from tirerack.com). Yokohama makes a great tire as well.
Anyone running 245/275 and experiencing any downside?

I'm running 245 in front and 275 in rear Michelin as3+ pilots. I have been running them on a stock 2015 gs350 f-sport rwd for two months with no issue. Worse thing you'll see is the gas computer might take a while to adjust and your mileage in the city might go down a bit. The stock tires are ok but are too noisy and wear fast.

Check some of my posts; I have pictures as well.

+1 to running 245/275 Michelin AS3+ on my RWD F-SPORT.
Nice upgrade over the stock Bridgestone and no loss in traction/handing in the dry and much better in the rain/snow.
Just got my oil changed and they mentioned my rear tires are at 2/32 wear after 15k. Fronts are closer to 50% but heads up on tread wear. I'm considering going to a square (all one size) wheel setup so I can rotate.

Having rear tires replaced tomorrow to 275 with the Michelin AS3+ as well and keeping the stock 235 fronts for a bit longer until they are completely worn and then going to the 245 up front with the same tire.

I'm currently running the 245/275 A/S+ setup. Last week, my rear tire attracted a nail close to the wall. So I'll be replacing both rear tires tomorrow, since the tread is getting low anyways. I got close to 25-30k miles on my current set. I have another 10-15k miles to go on front before I replace.
I've been pretty satisfied since transitioning from the OEM tires.

This is interesting. Question: I have a 2015 GS F-sport with OEM rims. Can I go to this 245/275 setup without changing my rims? I will eventually get rims, but it's definitely not on the near-term mod list.

Just had my 275 Michelin tires put on my stock '15 fsport wheels this morning no problem. Still running the stock 235 size up front for 5-10k more miles until they need to be replaced then I will jump to 245 up front. So far, I am liking the Michelin tires alot. That 275 is a fatty wheel.

Thanks everyone for the confirmation. This makes complete sense if you don't want to or aren't ready to go "square" Some of those prices posted by OP are "Reasonable" given the commonality. I'll definitely move up to 245/275 as my OEM's wear. Luckily my CPO came with a brand new set all around so I should be set for a year-ish.

$525 for a tire? JFC. Also, run-flats are horrible, don't do that.
