Hey everyone, new owner of a 2018 GS F Sport, leased
the car brand new with 15 miles on it, so far love this thing. One problem I just noticed is the paint on the rear bumper and black diffuser looks to be bubbling off. Back story, I have had the car almost 6 months, only wash it at a hand wash detail place and sit there while they do it, never goes into the brush car wash. After the detail today, I went to clean the leather but saw this in the rear bumper:
This was something that happened on its own, almost 6 months of ownership. I noticed the black paint by the exhaust is doing the same thing. This didn’t come like this from the factory because I have gone over the car myself when washing it a few times. Just sucks, looks like I will need to bring it back to the dealer.
Was just gonna say that, probably dealer did a touch up.
I wish it was a dealer touch up but this appeared
in the last 30 days. Sometimes after I get it detailed, I’ll go over the car with Griots Garage best in show and make
sure everything was cleaned. It was never there before. My last Lexus, RX350, paint was fine except for crappy factory work on the rear when the paint meets the black trim.

I would still try to bring to dealership and claim paint defect. That should not happen at all unless the heat melted it which I doubt.
