Unhappy Does anyone else find them ever scuffing the rocker panel with shoe on entry exit

I have scuffed the paint off a specific small area of my liquid platnuim 2013 Lexus GS350. I try to be as careful as possible entering and exiting the car, but every once in a while I’ll nick the paint off the creased area of the left rocker panel near where my foot usually exits. Am I the only one that finds it annoying? I was thinking of taking it to the body shop to see if it’s fixable without spraying the entire rocker panel. It’s only a very small out amount of paint that has nicked off. If I have it repainted I may request the shop wrap it in clear bra after repainting to protect from future damage.

Yes I notice this on mine. I always extend my leg to avoid rubbing it and have mine covered with Expel. It's about all you can do to protect the finish.

Our GS have an extended rocker panel that is prone to scuffing. You could apply PFF to that area. I had my wife's MDX rocker panels wrapped because she always scuff that part with her heels and boots getting in/out of the car. A light polish removes all the marks easily.

Yup. Our 2015 GS is all scuffed up. It's unfortunately very noticeable on a white car. I try to keep that area clean and waxed on my 2018 and had to train myself to step over it while getting in and out. I haven't really looked but it's likely my passenger side is likely in need of a little TLC.

Yep... and sometimes my pant even get stuck on the actual rocker panel and pulls it up. Need to stop being so lazy and pickup the leg further lol

It happens way too often. I try to avoid it and I'm good about it for a week, but the inevitable happens. I always have to polish that area extra well when washing my car.

This my drivers side. I can’t stand the sight of this. My passenger side is perfect though. I think I’m going to have it painted clear film wrapped.

Wow, that's terrible. You must be hitting it with your shoes.

Haha. No I wear $60 Nike’s and dress shoes. I suspect this rocker may have been cheaply repainted before I purchased the car, I’m the 3rd owner. That would explain the paint coming off so easily. I’m going to take it to a good body shop and see what it would be to respray the rocker and wrap it in Xpel Ultimate. never had this issue in any other car.

I've got an extra pair of these heavy metal pants I can send you...they'll go well with the shoes.

And the jacket I have chosen for you is a real shocker - especially to your car's leather interior.

Just let me know...
