Wouldn't have thought so. Think about it, they wouldn't have the software in there to run the clock if the feature wasn't used for another few years to come. Remember the nav units differered year to year.

Agreed. If it were possible, at the very least, you'd have to upgrade your entire nav system. All of the clock adjustments are done through the vehicle settings menu. The clock is different, as is the entire trim piece surrounding it and the vents. The vent design is also different and there are no more manual adjustment buttons on the face of the clock. Not sure how many of these changes are also required should you be able to update the nav system.

I linked to a Russian Blog post of a guy who retrofitted the 2016 head unit, controls. I think you would need to retrofit the 2016+ head unit and wire the clock for it to work.

Unless you change time zones often a synced clock would be nice, but totally unnecessary.
