Hey folks, quick question for you... (sorry if its been addressed previously ). Is there a relatively easy way to get 12v power to stay on when the car is not running? My previous Cayenne had this feature on all of the 12v power outlets and it was very convenient. I'm sure it could be wired up that way with some knowledge and a little effort, but I was wondering if anyone has made this change.

Sure, you can install an inverter. Something like this:
You could fuse tap/piggyback one of these 12 V accessory sockets to a constantly powered fuse in your fuse box.
However, this runs the danger of overly discharging your car's battery such that you may have problems restarting your engine.
Thus, it is safer to purchase a battery power management device like this Vicovation Vico Power Plus which has switchable power, but it also has a timer, and a low voltage protection to cut off power at a pre-applied setting so that you can restart your engine.
You will have to do a little bit of research on a new battery power management device, because my Vicovation Vico Power Plus is no longer manufactured, because Vicovation has totally pulled out of the dashcam business altogether.
However, some unsold stock may still be available.
