Depends on the year. The newer ones are LED already.

Comes with factory interior LEDs already. What year is yours?

I have a 2018. I believe the vanity lights over the sun visor are still incandescent but the rest are LED.

Yes, if anyone knows how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it!

My friend who works for Lexus said you have to take off the whole from somewhere! Dont want to risk doing that since I might randomly break it!

Am I the only one who prefers the light from the stock incandesent for the vanity mirror over bright white led? I think the softer light is easier on the eyes than the operation room led. Not that I ever use it. It's the only non led bulb in my car.

So i decided to leave those lights as is and moved over o the puddle lights. Somehow these are much harder to pull out than the is250. Has anybody replaced their puddle lights without any issues?

My .02:

1. I stopped messing with changing lights from OEM specs (internal/external) on modern complex luxury cars a while ago due to the risk/reward—even with seemingly innocuous things like lights.

2. I have read too many posts from others costly experiences due to “brighter/better lights” that created an bigger issue in the electrical system up/down stream post mod.

Note: Prior to my ‘15 GS350 F Sport, I had decent cars where minor and innocent aftermarket electrical mods (lights) led to costly electrical issues.

To each his/her own. Again. My .02

So after reading the DIY and adding some extra elbow grease I was able to change the puddle light. I wish they made a projector puddle light. That would be a nice touch

Haven't seen projectors for the puddle lights but there's projector logo replacements for the doors:

Same here. Only non-LEDs in mine as well and I prefer them. They are designed so well from the factory for their intended purpose - as vanity lights. I've never been in a car with such good vanity mirror lighting that actually do a perfect job showing you your face. Definitely not going to screw that up with cheap LED bulbs that will make you look horrible should you need to check yourself.
