JDM Sibling of the GS? Mark X

From what I know, there is a JDM varient of the Lexus GS which I believe is the Toyota Mark X. Based on this article, I was curious if anything swapped over from the Mark X to the GS...like that beautiful 6-Speed transmission. That would make my GS perfect

I'm not digging either of those interiors.

would love either of these cars here but there isn't a demand for them in this crossover/SUV saturated stateside market.
it's nice to see front engine RWD manual cars still being produced, albeit limited and out of our reach.
weird the 2nd crown pic is mirrored to look like LHD...

I like the sheetmetal on the new crown (although similar to the camry) because it means that they could use it to make a 5GS

Lexus Champion
I’d buy a Crown if they brought it here...

Nice. I'm brand new to this platform and haven't looked too deeply into it--I just didn't think there was an oem option. Have you transplanted one of these japanese units or maybe gone with something like wavetrac or quaife?

LSD is a factory option for RWD F-Sport models. Not common. baconRx has a unicorn GS with every feature offered if I remember correctly.

Not enough demand for another RWD sedan in the US.
AWD niche could filled by ES350 F Sport in AWD.
GS needs to find a niche between ES and LS—otherwise a future ES F Sport AWD option would be a good option.
AWD Hybrid and/or turbos out of the GS. Nice position against German E/5/A6 sedans where sales are increasingly AWD.]
