Cooled down here in FL would be a godsend. Ventilated does literally nothing for me.

The ventilated seats just push the hellish air from below onto your back lol.

The last thing you want to do as soon as you get into your hot car on a summer day is to turn On the ventilated seats. You'll be better served by allowing the A/C to bring down the cabin temperature before turning On the ventilated seats ... unless you like 150° super-heated cabin air being pumped toward your butt and back.

Maybe a coincidence? Maybe that’s true but either way it seems as though it doesn’t get warm when I don’t have the seat warmers on..best of luck and if u find out let us know.
This seems to have been it. I didn't drive with the seat warmers on today and it didn't get hot or even warm for that matter. Learned something new about my car today . Thanks

I've never had mine get hot there. I had my seat heaters on full high this morning and that area stayed cool to the touch. I don't think it's related to the seat heaters. I have a hard time seeing how a heating element in the seat, inches away, is going to make the side of the console hot.

I've been using my heater on full for the last couple days trying different scenarios such as (setting it just to the legs /just to the body/half on body half on legs) the only factor that changed really was the use of the seat warmers. I haven't used the seat warmers and that area hasn't got hot. That being said i haven't retested it by using the seat warmers again to see if the area heats up again ( which i probably should have done before just saying it may be the seat warmers)

I get what you are saying but i have no other explanation at this point in time.

I'd imagine the side of the console would be warmer if the rear vents are in the closed position while heat is on.

Gentherm used to make the cooling and heating systems for the seats for Lexus...I'm not sure they still do. The systems they made definitely cooled the seats using the Peltier effect, not just ventilated them.

So i've been testing it with the seat warmers on full for the last couple days and that area didn't get hot. This is actually weird because that area hasn't got hot again even with the heater blasting( on either the legs or body or on the body and legs). Not sure what it is but i'll probably experience it again and let you know then.
