Damage to my car

Damage to my car
Noticed this yesterday. Looks like somebody dropped something heavy on the hood of my car. Happened at my apartment complex.
Had to call the police so they could go over camera footage with building management. 3 days of footage since I noticed it on Friday and know for a fact car was fine on Wednesday. They spent over an hour watching video and turned up nothing. Parts that it rained the camera was fogged up. In any case the local police came over promptly and put their best effort into solving this.
Taking it to a PDR place on Monday. There is some paint transfer that looks like it will buff off.

The paint transfer will come off easy. That dent on the edge of the hood however, may not. PDR people are good, but there are some dents that cannot be "fixed".
What in the world did they drop on your hood? A refrigerator? I would be super pissed.

I'm not expecting them to get 100% of the dent out near the edge of the hood, but if they can fix most of it, I'll be happy. I also source a liquid plat8num hood in mint condition for $680, 2 hours from me, but the PDR work will cost probably half of that. There is also bodywork/repaint, but rather not repaint.

I was able to remove most of the paint with a little rubbing compound, but didn't want to get too aggressive. Let the PDR guy take care of the rest. Plan on have the entire car professional paint corrected and ceramic coated in the summer. If only I had a dash cam.

PDR guy gave me the bad news, it's not a job he could completely fix. Aluminum hood, multiple layers, would end up costing $900.
Couple options:
Rock a hood mask for $65, cover it up:
Go full carbon fiber for $1000:
Or replace with oem hood from 2013 same color, described as grade A for $680, about 2.5 hours away.

ok so I decided to get a quote including f-sport bumper conversion.
A highly recommended local bodyshop that has worked on both the f-sport and the base GS quoted me:
$1337.86 including tax to repair the hood, paint the full hood, paint the new f-sport bumper, blend both fenders.
The f-sport bumper from my local dealership is $458 plus tax delivered to the bodyshop.
so around $1800 for a complete f-sport bumper conversion, new paint, basically new front end.
Just fixing the hood alone and blending the passenger side fender is $871.82 including tax.
Of course if I do the f-sport bumper conversion I would recoup some of the expense selling my OE bumper that has factory clear bra. If there was ever a time to do the conversion it would be now.
I'm the guy with only basic liability paying $26 a month for insurance here in Virginia. I've saved thousands not paying for coverage on any of my cars for the last 13 years.

My car would look like this except the chrome trim around the top of the grill would be gloss black. I also have the led headlights
2013 GS 450h f-sport minus the dynamic rear steering
Also plan on wrapping the roof and chrome trim around the door gloss black.
