I’ve only had it for three months and a lil over 1,000 miles but I don’t like that there is no remote start, no auto locking of the car doors as I walk away and the seat heater isn’t as fast to heat up nor does it get as warm as either of my previous two cars and they were nine years older. The driver side wiper doesn’t swipe far enough to the left either.

I don't like:
The rattles. Needlessly expensive brakes.
A/C programming is dumb, lack of semi auto mode(odd given Americans love semi autos!).
Steering wheel doesn't extend far enough.
Remote start and lumbar support are useless.

Oh I forgot the most annoying one.

My (I think silly looking) analog clock is hilariously fast - like more than an hour a day. And it seems there is no way to set up any of the screens to show the time! This is amazing. Please someone tell me if there's a way, I can't find it.

the only one feature I’m not sure if it’s work or not is that Infra Red eye detector above the steering wheel. Has anyone seen it working or is there any way to test it?
The infrared sensor above the steering wheel is a driver attention monitor that works in conjunction with the Pre Collision System which uses the radar to sense if a crash is imminent. I have it in my 2013. I've had it for about 8 months and driven 5k miles and the PCS has gone off twice so I assume it's working. When the PCS engaged I got a warning beep and the PCS warning light lit up but it didn't auto brake as there was still plenty of space betw me and the car in front. I tried to test it by looking away a couple of other times in a safe manner but it didn't go off then and I didn't want to risk an accident.

2014 GS350 - it’s inability maintain a set speed downhill with the cruise control. I had a 2006 BMW which was able to +/-2km/h when set at high as 110km/h

Sometimes the car is a spazz when I turn off the engine.

Sometimes it has a warning beep of some kind for no reason (it stops when I get out and close the door - no big deal).

A few times my seat has moved to the highest and farthest forward position without me touching any buttons. I have the easy exit turned off so my seat shouldn't move at all when I kill the ignition.

Anyone else experience either one of these things?

I don't like how Lane Keep Assist, Pre Collision System, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control weren't optioned into 99% of the 13-15 GS's it seems.

We're talking about safety features that were only $2500 total and age those MY's without them.

I hear the sunroof fix may not be permanent. I did get the part to rectify this issue, hope it lasts as long as the original. That one didn't start clunking until 2021 on my 2015 vehicle.

Put some Rubber conditioner and sealant on it periodically to keep it from drying out. Its what I do on all my rubber on my car. Window rubber, trunk, Sunroof and all other rubber. Its works.

I got some 303 Rubber Seal Protectant recently. Hopefully that will help prevent the problem from recurring. I did hear someone saying the noise came back after a few months.

What rubber conditioner and sealant do you use? I replaced the seal a year ago, and now it's clunking again.

Use this. Formulated for the MX5 roof seal
