Default Audio System Options

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a used 16-18 GS and when I have test driven the one vehicle local to me, i was very underwhelmed by the sound system.

How good is the Marc Levinson system? I have seen a few gripes on this forum that it also isn't very good. Thoughts?

In both the base and ML options, are there OEM friendly upgrade options? I'd be willing to spend a few hundred to upgrade the sound.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, you won't see a consensus here on ML versus the standard stereo. Opinions vary greatly. I am extremely pleased with ML and wouldn't go without it, others feel it's not worth the cost. YMMV.

ML is great is you're not interested in pumping it. It's a super balanced audio experience.

If it's volume you want, it doesn't matter what you get, you'll need to add power and displacement.
