Looks like the latest version of Netflix is no longer compatible with Vline2. As mentioned older version still works. Amazon Prime Video also works and Plex as well.
Just a quick update on the product, I drove from Miami to Orlando without any issues with my VLINE LITE. I was using Apple CarPlay during the drive for music and navigation. I couldn’t be happier so far.
I have the Grom VL2 installed on my 2014 GS350 F Sport. I've had it for a few months now, and despite a bunch of issues with it initially... The last three months have been drama free. One question... Does anyone know how to center Google maps? Looking at the screen it does not seem to scale properly. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
What do you mean by "centering" Google Maps exactly? It looks fine to me, so I'm not sure what it is you want to change.
The arrow that indicates your location on the map is not centered in the window, it's centered in the middle of the entire screen. Google Maps is the only app I've used on the VL2 (so far) which does not seem to be responsive in this way. It's all well and good if you are making left hand turns but if your destination is to the right it's off the screen, or difficult to see until the last minute.
It's a Google Maps quirk. It does that on my phone too when in landscape. Only the newer phones that are extra tall don't do this in landscape.
Ahh, thanks for that. What's weird is today when I started the navigation it centered properly and I thought the bug was fixed. After a moment it swapped back to the off-center look...
I bought the VL2 and installed it in my Lexus RX 450H from 2010. The issue I have is that my joystick does not work, it seems VL2 does not recognise it.
I have to plug an usb mouse to be able to move the mouse pointer on the screen. I've been discussing with the Support of Grom Audio but they are still searching how to solve the issue. Also I am not able to switch from the Factory software to VLine and vice versa even when clicking on on the Radio button. or CD, or AUX, or TA.
Did you have the same issue ? Did someone install it on a Lexus RX 450h from 2010 ?

I've also got a '14, but a 450h and have been having some issues. One, how do you pair the unit? did you get it working with bluetooth? and the second is the screen turns off after only a few seconds, is that a setting or something?

Did they fix the slightly stretched screen ratio? I'm leaning towards beatsonic as well, hoping it's less buggy.
They fixed all the bugs and improved the screen ratio for full screen in 2016+ GS. 2013-2015 is slightly stretched vertically otherwise you would have a black bar on the top/bottom.
To me any stretching is a deal breaker. It makes it look non-OEM. The GROM uses proper resolution and size. Apple allows adjustment to the screen size for CarPlay, so stretching is not needed if the time is taken to develop properly. I will be sticking with the GROM as it is a superior product from everything I have seen so far. Hopefully beat sonic will prove me wrong.
