First GS model
Hey all, just wanted to share my first GS I picked up the other day. '15 gs350 F sport with 17.3k miles on it. I am coming from a '07 IS250 and a '95 sc400 prior to that.
First thing I did was bust out the polisher and get to work on some nasty swirls in the paint, first picture. I probably did about a 90% correction on the paint before completing the job with a ceramic coating on the paint and wheels. The deep sea mica color really pops now and I love how it changes color depending on the lighting. I have had it less than a week and received several compliments on the color, blue, black, and purple is what I have heard so far. This car is a blast to drive, in all modes, of course sport +, though that gas needle falling isn't the best, but it is what it is!
Looking forward to adding some personal touches as I research the car more and figure out what exactly I want. I do plan on adding fogs, that is a must for me.
Enjoy!

Beautiful ride! Rare to see that color in a F Sport 👌
I've done JDM fogs with OEM stalk, it's mostly for looks as it doesnt do much to add more light. Welcome and Happy

Oh wow. You did an incredible job on the paint, looks gorgeous! I feel like that's one of the first F-Sports I've ever seen in that color. Looks awesome!

I did quite a bit of research on the car but it was only after I purchased that I learned it was a little more of a rare color.
The fogs I assumed wouldn't add much for lightning, the headlights do a very good job at night, but I like the look and I live out in the country. Fog can get pretty thick in the mornings.

Beautiful color. Congrats! Curious to know what kind of products you use when you're buffing the paint.
For curiosity, I was just reading an article from a while back on this process: https://www.clublexus.com/how-tos/a/...k-paint-366302

-Iron x for the wheels
-Flex 3401 polisher
-Clay mitt- medium
-Menzerna FG400 for the polish
-Carpro Eraser as the wipe down
-Cquartz for the coating
Usually I would do a second pass with Menzerna SF3800, but I was on a time constraint and can live with the finish FG produced.
It is definitely a unique color!
