I went with this brand of sound deadener on amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Dautomotive&field-keywords=Noico+sound+deadner

I did outer door skin and part of inner.
my only reservation with noico is that theres still an asphalt layer to it, as well as if theres a 5GS ill probably upgrade so waiting patiently for that new before i mod further

I changed my headunit to 2015 so no more HD noise, it's sd card based nav.

Amazon Amazon

"Noico 80 mil is full weighted sound deadening material! Vibro-dampening layer is a composition of butyl and different improvers. "

asphalt ? I see nothing from the product description about asphalt. It's butyl just like dynamat uses. I installed it in my car and there was never any smell to it even in very hot temperatures. It has a 5 out of 5 star user rating on Amazon for a reason. I used dynamat on a different car in the past so I'm familiar with both products.

some reviews state a slight rubber smell and comparisons. I trust you since im sure we're in the same temp range and at half the price I'm game. I'll probably need 2 kits to do both inner and out door panels?

Yeah I don't about the third party review or the motivation behind it, but all I can say is I have never smelled anything from it. Noico performs exactly the same a dynamat for much less cost.

@peasodos Curious, did you install any in the wheel liner or firewall? That should kill quite a bit of road noise alongside the noise reduction wheels.

Damn, these 2019 ES Rims are Sexy

You need a 3mm spacer in the front to clear the caliper. Ordered a new set of Black lexus center caps.
On the same concrete road the rims are actually quieter than my stock rims, so the noise reduction technology is not some BS it actually works.

Yes same exact tires. I only drove the car 5 miles. Currently have a temporary 5/16" spacer on the front from autozone, since I needed something to get me home, Amazon primed the correct spacers.

You notice the noise difference more on concrete or rough roads than on asphalt. I have a 450h so when it's all electric I can hear just the tires better for comparison.

Came out better than I thought! The gloss black really brings out that wheel design.
