The only real issue is being able to reach all the seat belt buckles with all the kids in place. Leg room and shoulder room are not an issue.

I am the very happy owner of a '14 GS350 F-Sport and a new dad. I have the Chicco KeyFit30 (rear-facing infant seat) installed behind the driver's seat (mom needs the legroom due to post-op). I'm 6'4", 220 pounds, and my knees are about an inch from the dashboard. Not ideal, but I'll put up with it since it's temporary. It's not unsafe, but drives more than 90 mins or so wear me out.

First off congrats on being a new dad!

Yes , what you are saying is easily doable for anyone of average height. I’m 5’10 and have set up the seat as you described for long periods of time with no issues, and it gets much easier / more comfortable once they go front facing.
Obviously a minivan is going to be better, but the GS can handle the baby stuff just fine without sacrificing driving dynamics, etc.

Our Odyssey is almost as quick as the GS (which is wild, when you really think about it), though I am constantly in Sport mode and using the paddle shifters through all 10 gears, not for speed, but just so I can have better control of the vehicle’s weight distribution when changing lanes in traffic and getting on/off highway ramps. Most of the time my wife doesn’t even realize I’m doing it, but going from the GS to the Odyssey, it’s the only way I can drive without feeling frustrated. If you can avoid all that, all the power to you.

I have a 3 year old in a car seat and 9 year old on a booster in the back. I'm about 5'11" and so far not so bad. The 3 year old is behind me and likes to kick my seat tho. I suppose i can move up more but it's fine. I didn't realize how small the back is with a car seat but it's not an issue. In a few years, he'll just be in a regular booster like his brother. A 3rd would definitely not work in our situation. Even if they were old enough to not be in car seats/boosters, there is no way to have a 3rd comfortably. We have a '14 Highlander if we need more space and to haul around more people lol.

If I may, a little digression here ,
that statement baffled me so I checked, you are right, it is almost there.
the difference of 1 sec here and there is not much in real world traffic, it is driving dynamic which makes the difference

BMW & AUDIs are much better in this regard
I again miss my BMW although I knew this before buying.
