Default RSR Best*i Active Coilovers

Just got these beauties in yesterday. On schedule to get them installed tomorrow
These are fully compatible with AVS-Factory AVS controller is retain unlike most other coilovers.
Will write up my review of them when done.

Also got SPC camber kit. Wasn't sure if I needed these cuz I don't plan on slamming my car. But getting them install anyway since I'm getting an alignment done too.

Nice! How much do these run and are they better than the tein flex avs coils that also retain the AVS? Can't wait to hear your feedback!

They are 9k front/8.3 k rear. Wish I could do custom spring rates. We'll see how they handle.

You California people with your cars that don't age.

I had to swear a lot to get my suspension apart when I did my springs.
Your suspension looks new.

You’ll love them, I went as far as getting stance coilover covers for the front so they don’t become super dirty and caked up with brake dust.

All done, too dark now to take pictures of the car. I'll throw up some pics later.
Here is my alignment sheet. Mostly in spec except I'm running a bit negative camber front & rear to minimize rubbing. Glad I got rear camber kit, definitely needed them.
I did very mild drop. Maybe 1.5" front/ 2" rear. Front wheels rub tiny bit inside fender liner when going over a steep driveway. During normal driving, no rubbing at all.
Driver rear rub tiny bit too due to my bumper not being perfectly straight. I may try to pull the bumper out a bit to see if I can fix it. No rubbing on passenger rear.
I'm running Michellin AS3+ tires on 245/35/20 & 275/30/20 - Weds Maverick 20 x 9 / 20 x 10.

I didn't drive very far from the shop to home, so not long enough to make an accurate assessment. Definitely a bit stiffer, Eco and Normal feels like S+ mode in stock. S+ is now like S+++, bit stiffer. Reminds me of my BMW 3 series back in the days that was lowered on H&R. Love the flat cornering response. Not bouncing at all, very compliant ride.

Special thanks to Harry & his crew at Impex Motorsports. I've meet a lot of cool car guys in my days, but these dudes are super chill and knowledgeable. I spend the entire day chatting with them while they work on my GS. I completely trust my car in there hands. Anyone in San Gabriel Valley area needing suspension work, I highly recommend Impex. Fair price and meticulous work.

I went to Harry to get my exhaust installed. He's a super chill guy. I might go to him to get my air suspension installed.

Yeah Harry and crew are cool dudes. Harry used to have an IS-F and RC-F so he knows Lexus well. He now drives a 650hp Camaro ZL1 with the 1LE Extreme Track Package 😁. RC-F was too weak he said LoL.

I got to his shop at 11:45 am, didn't leave until 5:45 pm so it was too dark to take pictures. Here's a shot of Ken doing alignment on it. Kinda see the wheels. Weds Maverick 709M Matte Gun-Metallic with Polish Reverse lip. Goes well with NGP I think. But now my calipers are blending in too much. Already scheduled with Harry to have them painted soon or maybe go BBK.

Nice choice of wheels. The color match looks good. Hope to cross paths someday lol

This is great feedback for people like me debating on getting coils that support the AVS functionality, much appreciated Sir! I'm pretty sold on this exact same setup now and will be aiming for this in the near future.

Alright guys, here are some pics and some of my thoughts so far

-Rear driver tire is rubbing really bad. Whenever I make right turns, rub..rub..rub. With passengers it's worst.
-Need to raise rears up 10mm, what do you guys think?
-S+ mode on long sweeping freeway runs, very confident inspiring. Minimal body rolls.
-Notice more body flex as the car now is firmer and sits lower, not surprising
-Getting in a lowered car is PITA as I have a bad back. It's perfect for my little kids though
-Sorry for dirty wheels and car. None stop rain in Cali lately.

I like the stance. Does the rears look a tad lower to you guys?

Rub...Rub..Rub. Need to raise up 10mm or do something with fender liner. Really see that -3 camber.

Front sits perfect IMO, no scraping of my front lip going up my driveway Yay!
